Kasagi Sight-Seeing Navigation　No.23　Mount Kasagi Hiking Course

   Mount Kasagi was once a famous area for ascetic practice where lots of Buddhist monks flocked to undergo mental and physical training.  Even now you can see many Buddhist training spots, such as Tainai Kuguri, literally meaning “passing through the inside of the womb.”  Now that the sidewalks are well-maintained, this course is popular with many people from elementary school students to aged hikers.
