Kasagi Sight-Seeing Navigation No.19 (Explanation Of Hiking Courses)

◇Gin No Obi (Silver Belt) Course◇

<one way: 4km, 60 minutes>

   It is a course for walking along the ravines of the Kizu River, where you will be amazed at breathtaking scenes of deep gorges and gigantic rocks.  There are extremely rare things, such as oketsu (pitholes) and Kanjo Nawa (a sacred rope protecting the local people from evil spirits).

   On the way, you will see a big heart-shaped rock, which is regarded as an auspicious symbol of love.  Take a shot of it and use it as a standby picture on your smartphone.  It may bring you good fortune.

   Attention: There is a railway crossing on the way.  Please refrain from stopping or walking along the track.
